Facilitating Learning

ENROLLMENT FEE: $999.95 (less 25% discount) The art of learner centred facilitation. This session provides you the skills to become an effective facilitator, both online and face-to-face. It complements the Virtual Facilitation session whose focus is on the technical aspects and tools related to online delivery. Facilitating learning can range in scope from a small group gathered around equipment, to a meeting room with a few people, to a webinar with hundreds, even thousands, of participants. The content can be equally varied, from interpersonal skills to product knowledge to complex technical skills. In this workshop, we will cover key topics such as the mandate of a skilled facilitator, the facilitator’s accountabilities, and how to engage learners and approach typical challenges that arise in the classroom. This session is designed to set you on the path to becoming a master facilitator, both online and face-to-face. - Identify facilitation best practices and apply these in face-to-face or virtual training sessions - Identify critical steps in planning and preparing for face-to-face or virtual delivery - Incorporate tools to foster engagement face-to-face and in the virtual classroom - Identify and manage conflict in a virtual classroom
