Designing Digital Learning Experiences Fundamentals
The Fundamentals of Designing Engaging Elearning.
Facilitators: Ken Murray and Steve Blane
Great digital learning experiences start with a solid design strategy. Without this design foundation is, at best, a bunch of shiny things or, at worst, a mundane course with endless "click next to continue." Give your learners what they deserve - solid design.
In this four-week, case-based course, you'll get hands-on experience designing and developing the most common types of elearning courses.
Each week, you'll work in groups to tackle a real-world client request. During the course, you'll design course prototypes, onscreen elements and learner interactions to build the skills you need to create compelling digital learning experiences. See In this Session for more information.
Recommended skills: Articulate Storyline or Microsoft Powerpoint, Articulate Rise
We recommend you have access to Articulate 360 (the trial is fine), with Storyline 360 installed on your PC. If you use a Mac, you will need to install Parallels or Bootcamp. Back up is Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent tool.
It's recommended that participants have a 2nd screen to use during certain parts of the course.
